Plasmon mapping of silver nanorods

Our work to map the complex plasmon modes of high aspect ratio nanostructures appears in Nano Letters (published online July 6, 2011).Using electron energy loss spectroscopy, we map the spatial distribution of the many overlapping localized surface plasmon resonances in a series of silver nanorods.
